And now for the moment we have all been waiting for....

Last night Patrick led me through a path of candles to the place where, God willing, we will give our wedding vows (the front of the auditorium at the Otter Creek Church in Nashville).

As we sat for about 15 minutes and listened to special songs and watched the last two and a half years flash before us on the screen, we were both filled with excitement about what was going to happen next. We have both known for at least a year (and many of you knew) that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together in God's service, but the time has not been right. Now we would like to inform you that we are officially engaged and able to talk about whatever plans we, in private, have been dreaming up for our future. We will be married at Otter Creek in Nashville on June 16, 2007, and we will have more details closer to that date. Thanks for being a part of our lives and our relationship as we are all led by God to fulfill His plans for our lives. Please pray for us and with us as we embark in this stage of our life and relationship.
